Gilberto Rodriguez founded Gillybert in 2017 and has grown it into a boutique global research and consulting firm serving clients across the United States, Latin America, Africa, and the Pacific. For more than a decade, organizations across public, private, and social-impact sectors have relied on his clear analysis and practical assessments to navigate complex markets, strengthen operations, and make informed strategic decisions.
As a research and strategy consultant, he has supported clients working in renewable energy, education, real estate development, environmental initiatives, and cross-border institutional planning. His work has included projects with the Federación Boliviana de Rugby, ConDecor Mexico, and GeneTank, as well as organizations focused on economic development and community-centered growth.
Before founding Gillybert, he worked at The Blue Lab in Boston, contributing to research, data analysis, and strategic communication for public-sector and political clients. He later served in analytics and operations roles at Brink’s Inc., where he oversaw multimillion-dollar inventories, supported financial forecasting, and strengthened operational controls for federal and private clients.
Gilberto’s career began in community safety and nonprofit program development, where he managed educational and public-service initiatives that reached more than 100,000 participants. This foundation shaped his long-standing commitment to responsible growth, equity, and practical solutions that benefit both organizations and communities.
He holds a Master of Science in International Business from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Phoenix. His additional certifications in commercial banking, financial management for development professionals, and financial inclusion support his work at the intersection of research, finance, and strategy.
When he’s not working with clients, Gilberto stays active in his community through volunteer work. He serves on the Board of Future Leaders, Inc., a nonprofit focused on holistic learning for children, and is a Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles. He lives in Bellflower with his bull terrier, Luna, and enjoys spending time outdoors, watching baseball games, and catching rugby matches whenever he can.
